I just want to thank the Westminster Police Department for their work tonight on Halloween. When we were out walking the kids around to different houses, the Westminster PD was patrolling the neighborhood making sure everyone was having a nice and safe evening.

Well, I took the big plunge this weekend and headed to my high school reunion to see everyone. I can’t believe that it has been 20 years since we all graduated from high school, East Union High School in Manteca, Calif., class of 1987.
It began as a fun evening at a local brew pub in Manteca at Kelley Brothers Brewing Company. The company was great and the band that was playing was incredible, it helped also that one of our fellow graduates was playing also, but the beer was horrible. Continue reading
Well I haven’t posted in a while and that is because I went in for unexpected surgery to have my appendix removed.
I have been in the hospital until last evening and have not been in any condition to post.
I will be at home the next couple of weeks, so hopefully I will be able to get back to making some posts.
It is good to be back.

They way we found out about it is that we were trying to get more and the store shelves were empty. So I did a search on the internet and found this and many other articles.
I just want to say what a rip-off air conditioners can be.
We installed an air conditioner last year for about $3,000 to $4,000 and it worked ok for the first summer. But when we fired it up this summer, it was not working.
Well I couldn’t get the company that installed our air conditioner, Heat Exchange, to come out for two weeks. We found Applewood Plumbing, Heading & Electric to come out within a couple days. Continue reading
