I was at work today and wanted to see how the mobile me would work on Internet Explorer, which we are supposed to be required to use at work. (I know, pretty bad).
Well I got this warning when I tried to bring up the site.
So if you are using Internet Explorer 7, be forewarned when trying to access your Mobile Me content.
ESPN – Papelbon’s pregnant wife reportedly felt threatened – MLB.
I just want to say this is taking a rivalry too far. You kid, you taunt, you trade barbs, but you never, ever phsically threaten a player or his family. This just shows how classless the New York fans are.
The Red Sox-Yankee rivalry is a great thing for Major League Baseball, but when people threaten another player on the opposite team, give me a break.
This rivalry doesn’t need any more fuel on this fire and the media in New York should be ashamed. But the people who should be more ashamed are the people who threatened a pregnant women.
For those of you who haven’t updated, WordPress 2.6 is now out and you should update.
I have been running it a little bit and have not seen any problems.
The one function I do like is the plug-in management. The previous versions put all the plug-ins together, whether they were active or not. WordPress 2.6 separates the active plugins from the disabled ones. It is nice.
Give it a try! At least do it for all of us who are on the Internet and protect us from viruses and other bad things.
I just want to say the All Star Break couldn’t have come soon enough for the Colorado Rockies. It has been a horrible first-half. I don’t think they could have played any worse.
It gets embarrassing because the last two game they played were on National Television, yesterday on Fox Sports and tonight on ESPN, in front of biggest media market of the world, New York City.
The Colorado Rockies, just off a World Series appearance, are now 39-57 and 8.5 games back in the standings. In the last three games against the New York Mets, they had 11 hits and 1 run. That is pathetic. Continue reading
Woodlands Grill in Westminster, Colorado is a great restaurant. It has great food and service and we will defintely be going back.
I went their last night with my wife, sister in-law, and some friends. We had a blast.
The drink specials were great and innovative, the wine list was quite expansive and many good choices. We had the Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon from Cheateau Ste. Michelle in Washington and the d’Arenberg The Footbolt Shiraz.
Both wines were great, good flavors, and were reasonably priced. We enjoyed them alot.
The food was also great. For appetizers we had the bruschetta and hot spinach-artichoke dip. Both didn’t last long on the table. We enjoyed them quite a bit.
For the main course I had a ceaser salad as a warm-up and the filet of beef tenderloin. The ceaser was wonderful and for $6 you got quite a bit of salad. It probably could have been shared by two people. The beef tenderloin was quite tender and delicious. The fingerling potatoes and fresh asparagus that were served with it were good.
Other entrees that members of our party had were the goat cheese tart, french cut pork chop, and the gemelli pasta with spinach pesto and chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My wife was still raving about her goat cheese tart this morning.
For desert, the selections were equally amazing and delicious. I had the William Tell (an apple cake and cheesecake combination). Delicious. Also getting rave reviews were the other two items that we had. The snowball (a chocolate concoction surrounding white icing) and the bruscheta bread pudding had everyone enjoying desert.
Overall, the Woodlands Grill is an impressive restaurant. We enjoyed it and will be going back. The drink and wine menu were quite expansive and will serve all your needs, there is something for everyone on the menu, and the deserts will leave you breathless.
I would highly recommend the Woodlands Grill for any meal, whether you are out with family, friends, or for business. The service and food will not let you down.
Heard about a profile on Zappos last night on Nightline on Twitter from the CEO so I decided to check it out today on the web. I can’t stay up that late to watch Nightline these days.
It was a great profile of a great company. They are doing a lot of great things and their employees really enjoy what they do. It looks like a fun atmosphere.
I came to learn of Zappos when I was going through the Denver International Airport and they had advertising in the plastic bins that one would put their personal belongings in to go through security. I questioned it at the time, but I now think it is brilliant. They have a captive office.
Congrats to all you Zappos employees out there. I have learned more about your company by watching this piece and following your CEO on Twitter. You should all be excited to work there. You have earned a new customer.
