Rockies Win
Well they did it. The Colorado Rockies have worked all-the-way back and are now in a one-game playoff for the wild card spot in the National League playoffs against the San Diego Padres.
Today was an amazing day as the Rockies battled and hung on for a 4-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Throughout the day, the fans and the Rockies players were watching the score of the Brewers-Padres game.
When the Brewers started their comeback and they kept posting the scores, the fans would go nuts. I think that this just drove the fans on.
Well it comes down to one game tomorrow to make it in. It is 5:30 MDT on TBS and should be fun.
Let’s go Rockies. Get one more and head to the playoffs.
It is a wonderful day for a baseball fan
It is a wonderful day for a baseball fan.
There is a wonderful race in the National League. The Mets are exploding and the Phillies look to be taking the National League East.
Who will win the Wild Card? Right now the Padres are losing 6-4 and the Rockies are 0-0. Jimenez is pitching an incredible game, but no runs yet. The Rockies need to get some runs across.
Go Rockies.
The stupidity of MoveOn.Org and the Democrats who support them

This is a pretty good cartoon that correctly shows how stupid MoveOn.org is. They are only hurting themselves and Democrats. I think that they are losing their influence in the political process for the stupid ad that they ran.

U.S. Urges China to Help Curb Violence in Burma, Prepare for Transition – washingtonpost.com
This is an extremely said situation. The government is cracking down on monks? They are using guns and killing an unknown number of people. But even though people are dying, the peaceful protests seem to be working. In this article in the Washington Post, they discuss that division level commanders are refusing to participate in the crackdown.

Too many men left on base
Well the Rockies battled hard, but left too many men on base and didn’t get the timely hits.
The crowd was ready to go wild, but it didn’t happen.
I don’t know why the Diamondbacks were jumping around behind second base after the game. With the Padres winning, they can’t clinch until tomorrow at the earliest.
Roxs need to win the next two and hope the Padres lose both.
Go Roxs.
Getting Closer
The game is getting tighter. We just got through the eighth and the Rockies scored a run to make it 4-2.
But they left runners at first and third. They need some more offense and keep the Diamondbacks from scoring.
Go Rockies!
