I am watching this film series, The War by Ken Burns. This is an incredible film. It takes a look at the war, not from the expert or historian point-of-view, but from an individual point-of-view.
The beginning jumps around a little and does not go into detail on how the war started and what led to the causes, especially in the Pacific Theater. But it is a good look at how the war affected common Americans and how they built up to fight the war.
I would encourage everyone to watch it and learn so that this does not happen again.
