Research Finds Firstborns Gain the Higher I.Q. - New York Times I always new that I was the smartest in my family.
In a recent report that was published in the journal of Science, "Norwegian researchers now report that it isn't a matter of being born first, but growing up the senior child, that seems to result in the higher IQ scores."
It is an interesting thought that has gone on for a while since Sir Francis Galton observed that men in prominent positions were first-born.
Don't worry, I have been rubbing it in to my younger siblings.
