I am in Sacramento for work and decided to head down to old town to the Rio City Cafe. It was a wonderful evening on the river as the sun set in the west and the ambiance was great, only when they turned the high speed fan off.
They had a wonderful wine menu, but I skipped that for the a nice cold Newcastle Brown.
For the main course, I had the Chimichurri Marinated New York Steak. It was served with mash potatoes and grilled asparagus. It was all delicious. It was served with sourdough biscuits that were classic sourdough.
I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the Sacramento area, especially if you can sit outside on the deck.
