Well I finally completed my upgrade to WordPress 2.5 and I am liking it quite a bit. I had planned on doing this while I was gone, but just did not have the time.
I am finding that I like this new version quite a bit and it is refreshing over the previous version. I had found that it had become quite tired.
I am looking forward to more updates and other interesting things from the folks who develop WordPress.
WordPress 2.5 is now available to download and install. In addition, WordPress.Org was redesigned. It also looks pretty cool, so check it out too.
I’ll be working on upgrading later today. If you take the leap before me, let me know what you think.

WordPress 2.5 RC2 is now out for review and comment and you can watch a screencast of what is coming. I am quite encouraged by what is coming.

WordPress RC1 is now out. That means they are getting closer, but they have missed their deadline by over a week now.
If you don’t want to download RC1, take a look at the sneak peak on the WordPress.Org site. It has some screen shots and interesting information.
I sure hope it is worth it, so far it looks like it is worthy.
For all of you who use the stand-alone version of WordPress, WordPress 2.5 is released tomorrow, March 10.
This looks to be a substantial release with a lot of new cool features.

I haven’t downloaded any of the betas, but I will be updating this as soon as I can.
My sister in-law just moved from New York City to Madison, Wisc., and she has started a blog to share her experiences moving from one of the biggest cities in the world, to a decent size city in the Midwest.

Because of holidays and changes in coding, the WordPress development team is going to skip its next release and combine everything into version 2.5.
They say they have some good things coming and changes to the admin area.
I look forward to this new release.
