471 Double IPA From Breckenridge Brewery is a Great Beer

I like good beer, especially IPA’s, and when I stopped for lunch on Friday at the Breckenridge Brewery & Pub in Breckenridge, Colorado, I had to try the 471 Double IPA. The 471 Double IPA is part of the Breckenridge Brewery’s Small Batch Series.

You know you are in trouble when they tell you that they only serve the draft in 10-ounce servings because it is 9.2% alcohol by volume. This is quite a bit for a beer when most hover around the 6 to 7 percent range.

The Denver Post – Ill. students lose diplomas over cheers

This is crazy.  Their parents and friends celebrated their child/friend earning their high school diploma and the school is penalizing them because in their opinion they were too disruptive.

Granted their were problems the previous year.  But it sounds that this year it was pretty well under control.

Let’s hope that cooler heads prevail and the students are able to get their diplomas without having to do 8 hours of community service.  They earned them already.

Simple Tagging for WordPress, Finally Working

Well it was not that simple, but I got Simple Tagging for WordPress working with my theme.

I first had to get the tags.php file working correctly and once I did that, it all started falling together.

Since I have that working, I have been able to tweak the index.php page and single.php page to reflect that I am using both categories and tags. Categories will allow me to group larger topics together and tags will allow me to focus on the specific so that I don’t get too long of a category list.
